In honor of a new year and a new decade I thought I would start a new blog. In 2019 I decided to do my first ever reading challenge. I did the one by the Pingel Sisters https://booklistqueen.com/ I did this challenge on my own and just tracked it privately. I have managed to read 29/52 topics and I still have December to complete some more.
For 2020 I have signed up for challenges and am going to track them in FB and Goodreads groups. I am sure I have higher ambitions that reality but it will be fun trying to tackle them all.
This blog is going to be where I track what challenges I am trying to tackle for 2020 and the books that I read for them. I have an ambitious list of challenges and books so we will see how it goes.
Traditionally I have been a mystery reader in my adulthood. I do love a good cozy mystery to get lost in for a few hours. Through various book clubs I have expanded my interest to include Historical Fiction and Thrillers. Still not super adventurous on exploring genres and authors though. Here's where the challenges come in. They will stretch my choices and while I am nervous and I am interested to see how I like other genres.
