Three Shots to the Wind

 Three Shots to the Wind is the 3rd Chloe Jackson book set in the Panhandle of Florida.  I am particularly engaged by this series by Sherry Harris because our family has a condo in the area and I have spent a fair amount of time in the Panhandle in the last 20 years.  The characters are well developed and have positive attributes but also have negative sides to them which adds to their authenticity.   

As for the mystery I can definitely say I really didn't see the outcome ahead of time.  Fans of cozies set in warm climates and interested in reading of different cocktails will like this series.

Enjoyable cozy where the readers continue to learn more about Chloe Both about her past and her family. She is an independent and strong woman who is working to get her bearings in a new town with a new career. He fierce independence puts her at odds with her new boss, Vivi and her brothers and she works to clear her friend, Rip, from a murder charge. I really enjoy these books as we spend a lot of time in the Panhandle. The spirit of the people and the area is conveyed well in these books. I look forward to reading more about Chloe and figuring out what Vivi is keeping secret.
