This is an enjoyable cozy set amidst Colonial history. The plot intertwined with Founders Day events in the area surrounding Ellington MA Harris did a wonderful job of mixing the history of the area and the historical events into her mystery. Sarah Winston Is a strong female character reeling from a recent betrayal and divorce. The story shows her struggles to find her bearings and a new sense of identity. Then her ex is accused of murder and she feels compelled to assist him. The mystery twists and turns from there. I’m curious to see what happens to Sarah as the series progresses
