Emily finds herself rushing to prove her friend’s innocence before the nuptials of her friend Samantha. There are plenty of secrets and people hiding their identities in this book. Dep the cat plays a central role in the story as Emily sifts through all the clues to find the true murderer. A cozy full of a cast of characters mixed with some humor and investigative prowess.

Wow this is a crazy thriller. The Who is misleading who is intense and makes for a great read. You will be on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. If there’s a chance any of this story is real it’s absolutely crazy. This is different from many of Pattersons other books but still a thriller at heart

a bit more gritty than a typical cozy

This first in the series is set amidst a writing seminar attended by newly retired DCI Armstrong. The setting in the Tuscan countryside is charming. The cast of characters is expansive and diverse. The mystery is well structured and full of possibile suspects. Well done and intriguing enough to want to read more
