This is a very engaging cozy. Addie feels like someone you could be friends wife and her emotions and relationships feel life like. I appreciate that not everything goes smoothly for her and their are real struggles in her life. I feel like much of the unfortunate things that happen to her could be feasible if you had a naturally curious personality that encountered criminal activity. If you like well written mysteries set in the northeast sprinkled with history and legends- particularly pirates; you’ll like this book
