wonderful job keeping the series fresh
Despite being the 14th book on the series McKinlay does a great job in keeping the story fresh. Even though we know Lindsay and Sully by now it’s nice to see their relationship and to see their friendships growing. It was fun seeing crossovers from other author’s series as well. The mystery is well conceived and enough valid suspects to keep the reader wondering. Even when you suspect someone you’re still not sure the motive. Even at the reveal there were motives exposing unexpected twists
