This book dragged a bit at times and I just couldn’t seem to really get into the story at first. Great cheese explanations but the romantic angst was a bit much at times. It seemed to overshadow the mystery. Hopefully the next book is more like the earlier ones with plots that engage. The core characters are good and are forming a non blood family for sure
