This is the 4th book in the Lighthouse Library series by Eva Gates. The quirky characters continue to engage and entertain. There is a bit of the unknown and possible supernatural in this story. The whodunnit is also well done and not obvious
The Spook in the Stacks by Eva Gates
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I thoroughly enjoyed this Lighthouse Library book The character development especially relationships is well done. My only concern was the volume of ancillary characters. Their supporting roles and infrequent appearances in scenes made it hard to keep track of who was who There were several scenes with large groups of named characters that were a bit difficult to place lol the characters. This is the main reason I gave it a 4 star. I enjoyed reading all the NC maritjme and outer Banks legends that are interspersed in the story.
