I finished the book, the Seat Filler by Sariah Wilson, I had begun in 2023 at the very beginning of the year. This was a very enjoyable romance read. I liked the characters and the fact they didn't just have an easy go at a successful relationship.
The background setting of the Hollywood scene and the premise of how the couple first met is unique. I appreciated their vulnerabilities and the way their relationship developed based on trust and support before the romantic relationship began. The whole phobia of contact is another unique aspect of the story. All in all, at its heart it's a romcom with a happy ending with lots of fun scenes and situations. I enjoyed this book and plan to explore other books by the author. Roommaid has been on my TBR list so this seems like a great place to start.
The Seat Filler by Sariah Wilson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
great read rom com with depth
This is a romcom that takes it a step further. It’s about 2 people revealing their vulnerabilities to each other and learning to trust one another. It’s also about overcoming betrayal and learning to trust. I’m glad I decided to pick this from KU
