My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book is setting up quite an intriguing secondary mystery. The only issue I have is if you read the books too far apart you forget some of the details that tie into this underlying mystery. It’s easy to forget since there are so many characters in each book. This book does a nice job of blending some mystical elements into its plot. Nothing as extreme as a paranormal cozy but rather some cases of things happening that cause you to raise an eyebrow and think about in a bit more depth. Overall I look forward to reading more of this a series
