Delilah is a strong lead character running her own restaurant. Her group of coworkers and friends round out a balanced cast of characters. This particular book centers around the mystery and the history of the mob in their town. There is less description of food in this book than in other culinary cozy mysteries. The mystery is well structured and involves a unique premise. The reader will be kept engaged til the end

In a race against budgets Lindsey and her friends attempt to solve the crimes at hand. A great new character is introduced and she fits in well with the crafternooners.

A good character driven cozy mystery. Scarlett is involved in a murder after agreeing to cater a wedding at the last minute. Unfortunately the MOB is a real bear to deal with. The whole murder and investigation lead Scarlett and her sisters to question their roles and those of others around them. It’s a very good mystery even if some of the characters have some very antiquated opinions of the roles women play in society
