The Chanel Sisters by Judithe Little
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
An interesting read about the life and early career of Coco Chanel and her sisters. I enjoyed reading about the haves and have nots in Paris at the turn of the 20th century. The adaptation of society life during WW1 makes for an interesting perspective. I had no idea this was the era that made Chanel famous. It’s definitely helpful to read the author’s note on how ahead researched the story and her liberties she took. It’s a good read for those looking for a hist fiction not set in wW2
