Barbacoa, Bomba, and Betrayal by Raquel V. Reyes
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Enjoyable book that is sure to get your mouth watering. I love the mix of history blended into the mystery. It’s easy to forget you’re reading a mystery at times. I only give it a 3 vs a 4 because some of the situations Miriam and Alma find themselves in seemed a bit absurd in some ways. I did love all the information on Puerto Rico and about 3 kings day. I look forward to reading the next book as this one ends quite abruptly with some very unresolved issues
